What types of documents can I upload?
You can upload most common document types including PDFs, images (JPG, PNG), and scanned documents. InfoMan will automatically scan them using OCR so they become searchable. Common examples include utility bills, insurance policies, finance agreements, software licences, and subscription confirmations.
What does the AI summary actually do?
When a document is processed by AI, it extracts key information automatically: renewal dates, costs (monthly or yearly), account or policy numbers, and a short summary of what the document is about. This saves you from having to read through pages of small print. You can always edit or correct anything the AI gets wrong.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your documents are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage. We use multi-factor authentication to protect your account. We never share your data with third parties, and you can delete all your data at any time from the settings page — everything is permanently removed.
What happens if I use up my AI processing credits?
Your documents are still stored and searchable — you never lose access. They simply won't have an AI-generated summary until your credits refresh at the start of the next month. You can also upgrade your plan or switch to Pay As You Go at any time for more credits.
How do renewal reminders work?
When the AI processes a document and finds a renewal or expiry date, it adds it to your events list. You can then choose to receive reminders by email or text message — anywhere from 24 hours to a full year in advance. You can also download your events and sync them with your calendar app.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you downgrade, you keep access to your stored documents — you just won't be able to use AI processing beyond the limits of your new plan. All billing is handled securely through Stripe; we never store your payment details.
What personal information do you collect?
We only ask for your email address when you sign up. We don't collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
